An aneroid blood pressure machine, also known as an aneroid sphygmomanometer, is a device used to measure blood pressure manually, without the need for electricity or batteries.
Components:
Cuff: This is wrapped around the patient’s upper arm. It has an inflatable bladder inside.
Bulb with a Valve: Used to inflate the cuff manually.
Pressure Gauge: An aneroid gauge that displays the pressure in the cuff, measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg).
